Charley's second eviction brings back viewers

Viewers returned to Channel 4 on Friday night to see Charley Uchea evicted from the Big Brother house at 10pm. The extended show grabbed a 26% share of the audience, with the earlier outing at 8.30pm managing 4.5 million and a 21.7% share.

This is the second time Uchea has left the house, after a fake eviction was staged on July 13, where the public voted knowing she would return to the house straight after she came out.

The eighth series of Big Brother, which began on May 30, has averaged 3.5 million viewers and a 17.2% share across its run.
