Tiscali is expanding its online video presence with the launch of Real Estate TV on its portal.
The deal follows last week's announcement that sports broadcaster Setanta is to launch a range of internet TV services on the portal.
Real Estate TV will make broadcast content available on Tiscali’s property channel for free, helping visitors to the site learn more about buying and owning a property.
Independent TV channel Real Estate TV offers a range of programming featuring property hotspots and overseas markets. It also provides information on how and where to purchase property.
The Tiscali website receives seven million unique visitors each month and the online property channel alone receives over 700,000 page views each month.
Tiscali TV launched earlier this year, making its TV service available to nearly five million UK homes, with plans to raise this figure to 10 million by the end of 2007.
Other operators have also jumped on the IPTV bandwagon this year, with Orange launching a service, and Pipex founder, Peter Dawe, launching Babel TV.
BT’s Vision service is also performing well in the market (see NewsLine).
